Our Team

Behind Newmatik is a truly international team. With our headquarters and main factory located in Germany, we are well positioned to serve both the German-speaking and European market. Our factory in Romania is located in the heart of the the booming market of Eastern Europe. Our team of over 100 represents a dozen nationalities. We offer full service customer support in English and German.

Geography is no longer a barrier when it comes to doing business, and at Newmatik, we believe it shouldn’t be for hiring, either. We are convinced that we should hire the best people we can find for the job, no matter where they live. And we’ve developed the online tools, workflows, and supply chain to make this happen.

Over the past five years, we’ve built an international remote team of highly qualified software engineers, project engineers, and quote specialists. With our mix of on-premise and virtual office, someone from Newmatik team is always at work, no matter what time it is. This flexibility enables us to optimally serve our international customer base – and to provide customer support around the clock.

Newmatik is owned and managed by co-CEOs Dominik Ottenbreit and Björn Ottenbreit. Dominik and Björn are the second generation of leadership in this family-owned company. Dominik is a computer-scientist by education and the driving visionary behind the fully digital experience of Newmatik. Björn is our technical expert, whether it’s + machines, optimizing production, or planning custom-built factories. Ingrid Ottenbreit, who founded the company with her husband Ambrosius Ottenbreit in 1990, is in charge of financial controlling, and Carly Ottenbreit is responsible for overseeing purchasing of electronic components and PCBs from our extensive supply chain in Europe, the Americas, and East Asia.
